Hi, My name is Prashant Trivedi, currently employed at Massive Entertainment, Sweden as a  Senior Level Designer.

I was introduced to video games when my father gifted me a game console on the occasion of my 10th birthday. We both used to play a lot of Contra, Mario and Bomber Man.

For me video games were another world where I could be whatever I want to be. Since then I have dedicated myself to video games and have never looked back. I used to play a lot of legos in my childhood so naturally I liked creating things and experiment on new shapes and structures.

In my mid-teens I already knew that I wanted to make video games for a living.

Whenever I used to play any video game I always thought "What if the player went to a different place instead of the one intended. What if I can change this health potion to a mana potion".

I always paid a lot of attention to how i am being guided by the guys who made this game to a certain experience. This means that those guys already lived that experience and wanted other players around the world to experience it.

I did some research and found out that a level designer makes sure how player is progressing through out the game by completing levels. And my goal was set. I wanted to become a Level Designer no matter what. I started making levels in Warcraft III editor and was amazed with the kind of game-play scenarios I was able to come up with.

"As lead world designer on Avatar: From the Ashes, I fought to get Prashant on my team, and I am glad he joined. Without him, we would not have shipped the brand new ravines area, which I initially felt was way out of scope for the DLC, but once he came on board, I had no concerns that it would not just get finished, but also be done at an excellent level of quality.
I had worked with Prashant before with myself as a senior world designer and him as a senior level designer, and through working together, we achieved some great accomplishments including reacting to very late narrative changes where we reshaped sections of the game to better support the narrative while minimizing any necessary rework from the level art team that had already done substantial work on the content we were adjusting. It's only because of our trust in each other and trust from our respective leads and producers, that we were able to accomplish the work we did.
In addition to Prashant's positive attitude as a team player, he also makes sure he dedicates time to staying on top of local trends - something that I could probably stand to be better at myself, and applies those lessons learned into his current work. He also makes time to give back to the community and on his own time volunteering his time to be a guest lecturer at universities near and far. This is the attitude of not just a team player, but a leader. If you're looking to upgrade your team, then I suggest you reach out to Prashant. It was a pleasure and an honor working with him, and I hope we get the opportunity to work together again."

In 2013, I finally got the chance to become a level designer and have been designing levels ever since.

I enjoy designing experiences and game play scenarios that amazes the players and makes them play more and continuously engaged. I have a strength in Level Design and Detailing by creating aesthetic environments with clear navigation and fun gameplay. also have a strength in designing experiences, emotions and fun gameplay variations. I also have experience working as a world designer. I strongly use variety matrix in order to come up with different and fun gameplay variations.

I am a hard worker and a very fast learner!

Let's make some incredible levels!

Thank you for your time.

"Prashant is a rare breed: he possesses a keen understanding of the technical nature of Level Design. while simultaneously grasping the art of it. He understands rules and techniques, but hasn't forgotten how to dream. As a Game Designer, it has been a wonder to work with Prashant as the LD on my project, due to his deep comprehension of player experience and his crafting of levels that are genuinely compelling, vividly beautiful and truly enjoyable. He's one of those people that raises the bar, bringing the team a level higher with him, due to his grasp on the various departments that he has to interact with on daily basis. Beyond that, he's punctual, understanding and observant. I am envious of Prashant's endless motivation and I would recommend him to any team, any time without a second thought."

- Raunaq Sokhi (Senior Game Designer at Embark Studios)

"Prashant is a passionate pro gamer with great knowledge of games and their mechanics. Given a set of 'game ingredients,' he creates fun and challenging levels with great enthusiasm and focus. He understands that levels are experiences and and makes sure that proper and intended experience is provided to the players. He also understands the technicality and able to develop under given art and technical constraints of the game.
I highly recommend my good professional friend
"
